Healthy Food

For the past 10 years, the Trust has been providing daily hot mid-day meals to around 50,000 students from 182 government and aided schools, in partnership with the State and Central Governments.

Clean Water

Since 1st August 2010, the Trust has been providing packaged drinking water to around 50,000 students from government and aided schools across multiple language mediums.

Medical help

The Trust has organized healthcare camps in the slum areas of Bangalore and provided a complete course of Hepatitis B vaccinations to school children and their parents in adopted schools.

Education

The Trust has offered merit-based scholarships to students who secured above 90% marks, irrespective of caste or creed, supporting their educational growth.

“MSECT is Registered under Section 12A, 80G of Income Tax Act 1961, and FCRA” 
Mohsin Shariff Educational & Charitable Trust (MSECT) was established in the year 2002 by Mr. Mohsin Shariff, who began his journey in social service in 1998 with a deep commitment to selfless service. The Trust was formally registered to expand and institutionalize its humanitarian activities for the welfare of society. MSECT is founded on the principle that true service needs no publicity. Guided by humility and compassion, the Trust works with a clear vision to serve society without discrimination and to uplift the underprivileged through meaningful and sustainable initiatives.
Recognized by the Government of Karnataka, MSECT was entrusted with the responsibility of implementing the Mid-Day Meal Programme on behalf of the State and Central Governments. Through written agreements with the Zilla Panchayath, Bangalore, the Trust provides daily hot, hygienic mid-day meals to nearly 50,000 school children studying from 1st to 10th standard in Government and Aided schools across Bangalore. These services are delivered without distinction of language, caste, creed, or religion.

Kannada Rajyothsava - 2008

In 2008, the Trust celebrated Kannada Rajyotsava at Town Hall, Bengaluru, marking the classical status of Kannada, with Justice Gurumurthy, Mr. Nanjun Swamy IPS, and Prof. Dr. Yejazuddin as special invitees.

Mid-Day Meals to Senior Citizens - 2011

On 2 March 2011 at Ambedkar Bhavan, the Trust issued ID cards for free mid-day meals and safe drinking water to 10,000 senior citizens, with Mr. Ramesh Barkle, Mr. Shrinath MLC, Mr. U. Nisar Ahmed IPS, and Prof. Dr. Yejazuddin as special invitees.
